Limecraft Tuition is run by myself Trevor Austin a master craftsman of nearly 50 years experience in the restoration of historic buildings. Feeling the need to share my knowledge, Limecraft Tuition was born, whose aim is to bring techniques of brick, flintwork, rendering and simple pargetting into the the hands of everyone over the age of 16.
Most of the work carried out will remain and be available to view as part of a permanent structure.
What A Mix Up was written by Trevor in his spare time and contains 50 stories from his early life in
Suffolk, the stories are all humorous country tales of people, their habits and happenings.
If you would like to buy a copy the book is stocked by Jarrolds of Norwich.
Lynda was able to carry out simple pargetting of a squirrel and mouse in lime mortar and thoroughly enjoyed her time with us as did Bob her husband who laid bricks and was speedy with the flintwork.
